The C-130 Hercules is a military transport airplane designed for troops and vehicle transport and missions in several weather and combat conditions. It is used by almost every country´s air force worldwide, especially among European and NATO allies.
Its design is basic but also advanced due to the continuous modernization that affects the C-130 every decade since it has been flown since the first time during the 1950s. It consists in a big body with anti-gun fuselage prepared for carrying whatever it is need to deploy (troops, vehicles,etc) and wings connected to turboprop engines, providing the high maneuver capability this airplane is known for.
Other notorious part of the airplane is the landing gear, whose wheels and suspension allow the plane to land almost in any kind of terrain including dessert, snow and ice covered runways. The cockpit is updated every time that aeronautics and military tech companies create new software systems that modernize the machine, like the gun systems included in the AC-130 based on the original Hercules.
In conclusion, the C-130 Hercules is the ultimate plane created by Americans that has been flown and will continue its fly during the following decades.

One of the most worlwide used as well as versatile flying crafts made by humans in the recent years is undoubtedly the helicopter. This huge piece of metal and other marvelous crafted engineering components is known of having a rotary wing system which allow pilots to perform an easy take off and landing from almost any surface throughout the earth.
The parts placed in a fixed wing airplane have the main function of allowing the propulsion system doing its main job, conversely on the helicopter the lift is created by some important parts like the skid or the commonly known rotor blades. Besides, the pilot is able to control the direction of the movement, either horizontal or vertical, with the swashplate and the mast which are situated in the upper part.
In addition, one of the main roles performed by the helicopter is the astonishing job of saving human lives in the middle of a wide ocean or a vast desert, which is allowed by the landing gear and the way the cowling and tail are crafted.
Summing up, we must emphasize the great functionalities and the awe-inspiring views from the inside o a helicopter.

As a brief introduction, the Hercules C-130 is a military airplane that is mainly used to transport, from heavy machinery, to troops between countries. The main characteristics that make it one of the best in the transport business are a very long operating range, and an amazing maximum of 70000 kilograms at takeoff.
Deeper in detail, it is mainly the four turbo prop engines that enable it to thrust incredible shipments through the skies, unimaginable before its assembly in 1954. But there are many factors that take part in such a revolutionary model like the enormous cargo door it has near its tail. Furthermore, its numerous wheels, and the size of them, makes up an astonishing landing gear that can, not only hold the weight of the fully loaded airplane, but also take the impact of a hard landing, not caused by inexperienced pilots, but by the complexity of the missions assigned to the Hercules.
Moreover, this airplane extends beyond the facts, at least for the Spanish Air Force, because forty seven years of, still unfinished, service leaves behind an emotional trace.

When it comes to talking about war aircrafts, it is imposible not to highlight the C-130 Hercules due to its ability to accomplish a really wide range of purposes, always focused on transport.
There is no doubt that the main characteristic that makes this aeroplane so special is its size, and that is mainly caused by its tremendously big fuselage, which gives it highly strong properties in terms of structure. Helicopters are one of the most amazing transports created by humans. Their easy maneuverability and high speed allow us to use them for many purposes.
The most important characteristic of helicopters is their rotary-wing aircraft design which allow them to land in and take off in risky situations. Furthermore this type of aircrafts have more technical features like the synchronized elevator, the swashplate and the stabilizer bar which provides them the capability to make sudden movements keeping its control. Other parts of the helicopter contribute to the protection of the fuselage and the security of the pilot such as the cowling, the skids and the tail boom. However if it weren’t for the rotor blade and the tail blade which are move due to the engine, helicopters would not fulfill their duty.
All this technical characteristics make the helicopter the best mean of transport in dangerous conditions. For example in mountain rescues or military missions where the ability of the pilot has also a great importance to make it successfully.
To sum up, the incredible design and features of the helicopter have allowed us to reach extreme places and be able to safeguard our lives in almost any area.

The helicopter is one of the best aircraft human race has invented due to his speed in takeoffs and landings which is very important in dangerous and combat areas.
All helicopters can be divided in two big parts, the tail boom which is the responsible of vertical and horizontal movements and the cockpit which is the part where pilots go in.
Above the cockpit we can find the cowling which covers the engine from external damage and the mast which hold the swashplate and the rotor blade. These two parts are fundamental for the flight because the first one controls the angle of flight and the second one the power.
Despite the fact that the tail boom can seem an unessential part, it holds the tail rotor and the synchronized elevator who provides them with the enough balance to fly. Last but not least important, all helicopters have a skid which allows them land in any zone and in consequence to be the fastest aircraft when we talk about rescuing people.
In conclusion the helicopter is a complex aircraft who stands out for his speed in takeoffs and its capacity of entry in hostile terrains.

Who has not ever heard about the Lockheed Martin C-130 Hercules? These magnificent and incredibly iconic plane counts with more than 60 years of service in which it has been deployed in a vast number of missions and international exercises.
The C-130 is quite easy to identify thanks to its 4 turboprop engines and its singular nose and cockpit which counts with some windows that give to the pilot a fully 180º vision field (including the top of the plane). Furthermore, the C-130 has a big fuselage that ends with a major cargo door, this door has the capacity to load from troops to tanks. But if we need to choose a word in order to perfectly describe the Hercules, it needs to be versatility. This plane is not only used for cargo purposes, it has a lot of versions like the AC-130 (attack version) or the KC-130 (refueler version). Depending on the purpose of the mission, some parts of the plane can be modified or substituted like the landing gear which can be reinforced in order to land in difficult runways.
To sum up I would really like to mention that I feel very proud that our air force can count with these splendidaircraft.

It is still being used in more than fifty countries including the United States, Spain and Mexico. It has been used in almost every war since it was created and has such a low accident rate.
The main characteristic of this fixed-wing plane is its four turboprop engines and its huge fuselage. There are several variations of this aircraft, like the AC-130 or the C-130H, and each has unique characteristics. Its landing gear is very tough which allows the plane to land almost anywhere the pilot could need, this includes snow, dirt, wet floor and in some cases aircraft carriers.
This plane can be used for many roles, such as being a gunship, like the AC-130 variation, scientific research, airborne troops transport, passenger transport and vehicle transport. Some of the variations are used for firefighting because it can drop water or chemicals in places where human access is impossible.

Helicopters are one of the most versatile aircrafts due to all the multiple tasks they are able to carry out. Therefore, all of the NATO air forces are equipping themselves with the new military helicopter NH90.
This helicopter is a modern aircraft created and designed to meet all the standards and requirements needed by the military to accomplish the different tasks it might be exposed to at any time and under any circumstance.
If we take a deeper look into the most technical aspects of this helicopter, some of the features which makes this aircraft stand out, is that it has two main rotor blades and a wide landing skid, which gives him more stability whilst accomplishing different missions. Furthermore, it has the capacity for two pilots in its cockpit and it is able to carry up to approximately 15 soldiers.
The NH90 has accomplished a lot of missions if we consider the short period of time that it has been operative. It has served mainly in the Baltic sea, Afghanistan and North East Africa. Its operational versatility and the wide range of tasks it is able to carry out, makes it one of the most effective helicopters available nowadays.

There are a lot of different planes, which can be classified depending on their use. One of the most important is the C130 HERCULES, a plane that has been used by different armies all around the world for almost six decades.
Firstly, the extraordinary big size of this machine should be mentioned , prepared for long trips and storage of heavy items. The aircraft has a big cockpit right on top of its nose, designed with two seats, for the pilot and the copilot. Talking about the exterior part, we can distinguish the powerful turbine engines, which have the function of making the aircraft move. When talking about direction control, the Hercules has both horizontal and vertical stabilizers, and a big rudder.
Secondly, it is important to highlight the uses the C130 has, these include transportation of troops or medical personnel and it is also capable of flying with huge military vehicles inside of it, such us tanks or even big trucks.
Finally and to conclude, it is very remarkable the amount of missions in which it has intervened, like crossing the ocean or transporting entire camps between countries. This is why this airplane is the most interesting of all.

Helicopters are derived from aeroplanes, but it has some difference between the common aeroplane, as they have the ability to both take off and land vertically, while the aeroplanes need to use wheels and make some distance to land.
This along with being able to hover in a given place and fly in any direction, with easier moves than the aeroplane. The helicopter has many applications, from the basic aim of the aeroplane that is the transport of person, leading to rescue operations, vigilancy, firefighting and military purposes.
On those military purposes, there are some destinations for the helicopter. One of them is designated for "search and rescue" also called "SAR". For this, the helicopter chosen in Spain is the "Super Puma". Also we have an acrobacy team, denominated "Patrulla Aspa". They used the "Colibrí", and smaller helicopter, which is height led to do a lot of acrobacies.
In my future, I would like to be a helicopter pilot, one of the reasons is because my grandfather was and I would like to follow him doing this. And it proved that helicopters are funnier to pilot than an airplane, because its flight is more relaxed than a combat plane.

The C-130 Hercules is an American turboprop airplane which role is tactical transport. This plane has been used by lots of countries in uncountable military missions and humanitarian aid.
It’s difficult to imagine how this enormous machine can be suspended on air. It’s twelve-meter long fuselage can fly thanks to its four turboprop engines. It’s cargo hold, as well as the fuselage, is absurdly big. Furthermore, this aircraft can carry thousands of kilos inside of it, including an astonishing fuel capacity.
Moreover, not only it’s capacity but also it’s image are spectacular. The connection between the cockpit, the fuselage, both wings, the flaps and ailerons, horizontal and vertical stabilizers, the rudder and the elevator is so subtle that makes this plane seem one only piece.
And talking about the inside of this airplane, just one word, breathtaking. Within the cockpit you can get lost due to the enormous quantity of buttons, levers and lights.
In addition, just imagine how resistant has to be the landing gear in order to support the weight this plane can have when completely charged…
So summing up, the C-130 Hercules is a technological fantasy. A perfect combination between functionality and elegance. Just a beauty!

When there’s an emergency in a city or in a combat zone, helicopters are the only vehicles that can move in or out of these areas. A helicopter can land in almost any area, that’s why this aircraft is special.
If we talk about the parts of a helicopter, we mainly find the front, middle and rear part. Firstly, in the front part, we find the cockpit, where the pilot controls the aircraft. In relation to the middle part, we can distinguish the mast which rotates the rotor blades. The motor mount holds the engine (which is protected by the cowling) in its place. The cowling redirects the airflow too. The swashplate controls the flight angle and the stabilizer bar allows the pilot to control the helicopter precisely. Another important part is the skid, that supports the helicopter when it lands. Eventually, in the rear part, the tail boom and tail skid protect the helicopter in landings. The horizontal stabilizer and the tail rotor control the helicopter direction and height.
To conclude, I’d say that helicopters are very underrated in the aviation world. These machines are outrageous, they can land anywhere! I wouldn’t have any problem in flying this aircraft.
